BioI was born in the base hospital at Forbes Air Force Base, Topeka, Kansas.
I graduated from high school on Yokota Air Base, Japan. I learned how to drive in Japan, on the left side of the road.
I turned 21 while deployed to the Persian Gulf for Desert Shield in 1990. I have served in combat, and I have seen men die.
I was a working field paramedic for four years in New Mexico. I delivered four babies in the back of my ambulance.
I live in Seattle today. I have no family in the western United States closer than Topeka. My parents, brother, and sister all live in Florida. I firmly believe that I get along much better with my family with three thousand miles of space between us.
I do onsite deskside technical support at a large IT company in Washington state. Consequently a good portion of my posts are likely to be in the helpdesk horror story vein.
Fortunately I don't do phone support. It's much more entertaining to get to see the kind of damage that people do to their computers.
I listen almost exclusively to heavy metal music. I go to concerts as often as I can.
I have the most spoiled cat west of the Mississippi River.
I am single, and I hate it.
